Vintage T-shirts from the 1970s and 80s, made from obviously poor-quality cotton, often had a distorted body and unique color fading, creating a paradoxical phenomenon where their poor quality became part of their charm.
This season, the garment has a stronger diagonal feel than last time, emphasizing a more twisted texture, resulting in an item that offers a pleasantly unusual feel. This garment has been crafted with a stoic dedication to detail, applying this distinctive aesthetic not only to the body itself but also to the neck ribbing, shoulder seams, sleeves, and hem. While such characteristics typically emerge as a result of fabric degradation over time, a defining feature of the *FOUNDOUR* approach is that we meticulously recreate these effects through the skilled handiwork of our pattern makers. FOUNDOUR have carefully selected a fabric that captures the faded tones, uneven yarn twists (which lend a slightly slubby appearance), and rough texture characteristic of vintage tees from that era—all while maintaining the high quality standards of modern manufacturing.
