A modified version of the herringbone twill utility pants adopted by the US Marine Corps in 1944, turned into shorts.
There is a seat pocket on the hip and a gusseted pocket on the thigh which provides excellent storage capacity.
The front has a button fly and a wide gas flap on the placket to prevent gas from entering, and the eyelets at the waist are detailed for hanging hook-type suspenders.
