Otto 958 is an experimental, anti-brand project created by London-based fashion designer Kiko Kostadinov in collaboration with the Los Angeles art gallery Morán Morán. It blurs the lines between fashion, art, and performance, often described as "neither a brand nor just an art project.".
The ASICS GEL-SD ARZACHOTTO reinterprets the original GEL-SD LYTE concept through a stripped-back, slip-on silhouette engineered for everyday wear.
Drawing on the egg as its starting point, the design retains the idea of a protective outer shell and inner membrane, expressed through a sculpted midsole and molded upper that cradle the foot with a secure, supportive hold. This evolved tooling system is updated with FLYTEFOAM PROPEL cushioning, delivering lightweight comfort and a responsive, energized feel underfoot.
The upper is executed in patent lizard-embossed leather, introducing a high-gloss, tactile finish to the otherwise utilitarian form. OTTO 958 branding is applied with a knocked out “O” on the tongue and a full logo spanning the upper, reinforcing the shoe’s graphic identity. The result is a casual, easy-entry style that balances technical intent with a refined, everyday sensibility.
